North Bronx Thinktank is a research organization, comprised of a committee of concerned citizens and merchants, which was established in 2003 for the purpose of resurrecting a better quality of life in our North Bronx neighborhoods.

The mission is to prevent quality of life decay and accelerate programs through research, education, and communication.

Our goal is to identify areas of promise and provide the funding necessary to make these research projects successful in addressing quality of life problems.

Our creation of the following programs have assisted in advancing the prevention and acceleration of a better quality of life in the North Bronx.

*The Children’s Collective (2005)

What a Poker Player That Diaz Is!!!

If Politics was Poker After Park, despite his age, Assemblyman and Bronx Borough President Candidate Ruben Diaz jr would be Lloyd Brunson. Quiet at the poker table. making his move when he has to. when feeling pressured-goes all in.

Ruben, since 2006, played with Jeffrey Dinowitz in the West, Pedro Espada in the South, Jimmy Vacca, Michel Benadetto and (in this pic) Diane Serino in The East to formulate "The Rainbow Coalition'-a coalition that has changed Bronx politics. its first test; Borough Presidency of 2009. The NEW Bronx Democratic Party has endorsed Ruben Diaz. But as we hear; June Eisland, Oliver Koppell, Jimmy Vacca, Jose Rivera, Helen Foster and Joel Rivera are considering

We congratulate Ruben on 2 years of great poker-but he has not won yet!
