North Bronx Thinktank is a research organization, comprised of a committee of concerned citizens and merchants, which was established in 2003 for the purpose of resurrecting a better quality of life in our North Bronx neighborhoods.

The mission is to prevent quality of life decay and accelerate programs through research, education, and communication.

Our goal is to identify areas of promise and provide the funding necessary to make these research projects successful in addressing quality of life problems.

Our creation of the following programs have assisted in advancing the prevention and acceleration of a better quality of life in the North Bronx.

No More BBQing on Mosholu Parkway!!!


Well, it happened!

After our organization PLEADED with CB7 Department of parks Chair Barbara Stronzer to put bup NO BBQ signs on Mosholu Parkway. And AFTER PLEADING THE DEPT of Police to COVER the area (they said we needed signs first0 ....and after a 2 Hour meeting with Councilman Koppell---Wholla
Mosholu parkway has its NO BBQing signs up. And for week 1, NO BBQing

NOW, lets hope that The Police can attempt to KEEP PEOPLE AWAY after they have been used to BBQing for the last several weeks.
